You're at the stage where you enjoy leading and growing people a little more than hands on coding 🤏

 

You still enjoy getting in the code, but your skills lie within strategy, architecture and say, reviewing the code.

 

You'll have the opportunity to be the first Front End Lead Developer into a fully constructed squad for an InsurTech company.

 

The splits will likely be 50/50, with a lean towards people management, and you'll be managing front end devs that all mostly remote.

 

In their words, the React front end hasn't been loved in some time, so you'll be upgrading a piece of, well.. legacy software.

 

But, more excitingly, there are two new product features planned for this year, so you'll contribute to something new too.

 

You'll report into the Development Director, and have around five to six reports. Ideally, you'll come into their office twice a month, but we're open to remote for exceptional candidates.

 

Salary is at £80k, with a solid benefits package on top.
